Extendable Table Module for Hapstone modular sharpeners is useful for sharpening long and short knives that are difficult to clamp. The central part features the three-point guide similar to Hapstone V7 knife sharpener. Side supports can be set in the desired position or removed. The central part and side supports have strong magnets.

Bought this after playing with the 2 types of clamps in my kit. Easier to use than clamps, problem is that the 2 outer magnets are about .040 in lower than the middle ones, making the blade rock / wobble. Have to Mickey Mouse cardboard shims. For that kind of money I would expect better tolerances.

Crazy shipping experience unrelated to gritomatic because it was handled by USPS. The magnetic table works great on several smaller, narrow blades knives I own so I can highly recommend it.

I am fairly new to this knife sharpening game. But when I used this Extendable Magnetic table it held the knife steady and it never moved leaving no marks. I used this on several different sized blades and it held all firmly. I really recommend this for those small blades also even though I decided to purchase the small magnetic table for those they both work beautifully. A they are a pleasant group of folks to work with on orders. THANKS GRITOMATIC
