Fine Cowhide Leather Strop is designed for final edge polishing with the Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust knife sharpener.
The stropping surface is fine cowhide leather, approximately 1mm thick, mounted on a 1.45mm steel blank in the PPA form factor. The thin leather layer provides a stropping surface supported by a rigid steel backing.
The ferromagnetic blank attaches directly to the magnets in the original PPA stone holder. Alignment holes engage the holder's locating tabs to position the strop and keep it stable during use, allowing quick changes between sharpening stones and the strop.
