Steel Blank for Work Sharp PPA is an empty steel backing for mounting sharpening stones, lapping films, or stropping materials for use with the Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust knife sharpener. The mounting surface measures 152 x 25mm, and the blank is 1.45mm thick.
The PPA form factor combines the mounting surface dimensions with a ferromagnetic steel backing and alignment holes. The blank attaches to the magnets in the original PPA stone holder without clamping. The holes engage the holder's locating tabs to align the blank and keep it stable during use.
Attach your chosen stone or stropping material to the blank using glue or double-sided tape. Each stone or strop requires its own blank; the mounted assembly can then be swapped on and off the magnetic holder. Sharpening and stropping materials are not included.
